iDMobile - PDA back office system

Implementation

Like most software projects, the implementation of iDMobile is key to success. Our experienced team will guide you every step of the way, making use of the latest online project planning tools to ensure that everyone understands what stage of the process has been reached.

Every project is different, but below we outline the typical stages in the implementation process.

Consultancy

The first stage normally involves some consultancy in order to plan the route ahead. iDMobile was designed specifically for the needs of the service industry, but each business is unique and the system will, therefore, require some tailoring to meet your requirements exactly. Our consultants will spend time at your site examining your business processes so that we can define exactly how the solution is going to function, its overall appearance and the layout and content of each screen. That way we ensure the system fits the way you work which, in turn, will make implementation easier for you and your staff.

Once this stage has been completed, our technical team use specially created software to produce your PDA and/or Service Management solutions. Each solution is formed from the same basic program, but customised to create the specific screens and workflow you require.

Installation

Your system will only be installed once it has been fully tested in a demonstration environment. A member of our technical team will visit your site to create the link between your back-office system and our server to enable information to be sent and received between the two.

Training

Our training programmes are designed to ensure that you and your staff realise the full benefits of using iDMobile as quickly as possible. Many staff are concerned when a new computer system is being installed, so our job is to show them that iDMobile will make their lives easier, not harder.

Our training will concentrate on areas highlighted in the implementation plan. From this plan, we will draw up a customised training schedule designed specifically to introduce your staff to the functionality of the product in the most productive way.

Deployment

Now your PDA and/or Service Management solution is ready for deployment. Depending on the size of the deployment, we usually recommend that this is done in stages, beginning with one or two PDAs, then gradually rolling out across the workforce.

Once this process is complete, you will immediately start to gain all the benefits of using iDMobile.
