Implementation

Like most business critical software projects, the implementation of Reztec is key to success. Our experienced team will guide you every step of the way, making use of the latest online project planning tools to ensure that everyone understands what stage of the process has been reached.

Every project is different, but below we outline the typical stages in the implementation process.

Consultancy

The first stage normally involves some consultancy in order to plan the route ahead. Reztec was designed by training providers for training providers and will cover the majority of your business needs. However, your business is unique and the system may, therefore, require some tailoring to meet your requirements exactly. Our consultants will spend time at your site examining your business processes and provide advice on how Reztec can work for you.

Installation

Your system will only be installed once it has been fully tested in a demonstration environment. Installation of the software onto your server takes place either on your site or remotely, if you have the facilities. Alternatively, you can choose to host your system on a server housed in iDynamics’ own data centre.

Data Entry

A blank installation is of little use as most clients have existing data that needs to be imported. To ensure your course schedule is immediately up-to-date, we can assist with the transfer of current data. As much detail as required can be entered at this stage, although we often find that it is useful to start out with a skeleton of the data and update in stages as your users gain confidence in the system.

Training

Training is much smoother once live data has been imported as your staff are dealing with information that is familiar to them. We always include a test and training database in addition to the live database to give your staff the opportunity to ‘play’ with the system without fear of damaging any live data.

Once this process is complete, you will immediately start to gain all the benefits of using Reztec.
