Managing The Activedition Project

Good project management is the key to success when implementing a new website.

Our experienced team will make use of the latest project planning tools to ensure that everyone involved in the project understands what needs to be done and when. Information regarding the progress of the project will be available for everyone.

Every project is different, but below we outline the typical stages in the implementation process.

Consultancy

The first stage normally involves some consultancy in order to plan the route ahead. Sometimes it is not possible for a content management system to provide 100% of a customer’s requirements ‘out of the box’. In this case, it may be necessary to develop customer-specific applications and/or integrate other systems. Using our established in-house team of analysts and developers, iDynamics can devise, build and support systems tailored to your specific needs.

Website Design & Build

Each site can be branded to look the same as your existing website, if you have one, or to reflect your corporate image if we are building a completely new website. We will work closely with your graphic design team or, through our partner network, we can provide professional design services.

Site Launch

Your website will only be launched once it has been fully tested . It will then be loaded on to a web-server, hosted either by iDynamics at our purpose-built data centre in London’s Docklands, or by another web hosting supplier of your choice.

Training

Our training programmes are designed to ensure that you and your staff realise the full benefits of Activedition as quickly as possible. Many staff are concerned when a new system is being installed, so our job is to show them that Activedition will make their lives easier, not harder.

We will draw up a customised training schedule specifically designed to take account of the number of staff, their concurrent availability, level of expertise and, of course, your budget.

Once this process is complete, you will immediately start to gain all the benefits of using Activedition to manage your website content.
